Fees

A summary of the fees involved in selling and collecting on Verse.

Primary market

Verse charges creators a 6% platform fee on sales made on the primary market. This fee helps cover costs such as credit card payment processing, servers, and support.

Collectors also pay a minting fee when purchasing an artwork on the primary market. This covers the network fee required to mint the artwork on the blockchain plus a platform fee. The amount can vary depending on network activity, but is normally about $2.

Secondary market

There is a 2.5% fee for works sold on the secondary market, paid by the seller.
