New Project

Flow and checklist for dropping a new project on Verse. Some details vary depending on the project which we summarise here.

Flow

Artist submits all details for the project and details for the artist profile
Verse team creates a project on the website
Artist mints NFT smart contract
Project launches and collectors participate in the sale
Collection appears on OpenSea as soon as the first NFT is minted. For generative projects the artist can mint the first NFT before the main sale.
Artist sets up OpenSea collection. Our design team is very happy to provide OpenSea collection avatar and cover.

Artist should decide on the type of project they would like to do from the list of supported types of projects
Artist should decide on the sale mechanics for the project
Submit artist details
Submit project details for every project
Deploy NFT contract

For all types of projects you should have

Verse account. All sales are connected to your Verse account. In your account page you will be able to see payouts for sales, withdraw fiat and export accounting/tax records (coming soon).
Verse artist page. To set it up we need

- artist image

Depending on the project we will need the following details.

Artwork assets (images/videos). Link to Dropbox/Google Drive works great!
Artwork title
Artwork description
Artwork creation year
Sale mechanics details
Sale start time
Sale end time
Price
Artist royalty percentage
Wallet address
Verse account username
(Optional) Traits/features for each artwork. Traits will be visible on Verse/OpenSea. Example attachment of two traits "Palette" and "Vivid".
